Specialised Research Facility – Australian Catholic University

3-point members delivered this highly specialised fitout for the Australian Catholic University (ACU) creating on the region’s most advanced research environments, featuring state-of-the-art human metabolic chambers. As the only facility of its kind in the southern hemisphere, the project required exceptional precision in planning, design, and execution to meet strict technical and scientific requirements. The works also incorporated high-quality office and research areas, ensuring a functional and collaborative environment for staff and students.

The project included the delivery of treatment rooms and a technical plant room, supported by complex service installations designed to maintain highly controlled environmental conditions. Rooftop works were also undertaken to accommodate new chiller equipment, ensuring robust and reliable performance of the chambers and research spaces. This facility positions ACU at the forefront of scientific research, enabling world-class studies and reinforcing the university’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
